y/n had been friends with lan for ages. since she turned sixteen, she&#039;d sent him dms, which he eventually saw and replied to, casually. he&#039;d been ten years older, famous, a racer. so when she turned eighteen, she told him she&#039;d loved him for years. he got confused, scared, unsure. there was chemistry, but he didn&#039;t wanna accept it. she was no model, although she&#039;d really worked hard to get that skinny by any means possible and still wasn&#039;t. she&#039;d recently got her glasses removed. and...she was young. too young. people would say too much. she was studying psych a cambridge and had published a book which made her slightly known, but...still. it takes time. things eventually work out. <br />
her parents were iffy, being typical indian parents. they were progressive, but not enough to let her go for someone so much older in a completely different world.<br />
