1. Title, status (Proposed), and date placeholder.
2. Context: the situation and forces in neutral language, so a reader in two years understands why this was hard.
3. Considered options: each with its main pros and cons, fairly stated.
4. Decision: what we will do, in active voice ("We will…").
5. Consequences: positive, negative, and the new risks or work this creates. Be specific; every real decision has a downside.
6. Revisit triggers: the conditions under which this decision should be reopened.
Keep it under about 600 words. Use only facts from my notes; where the reasoning has a gap, insert a bracketed question like [Why was option C rejected?] rather than inventing a reason. Output Markdown.
