Mock Interview: One Question at a Time With Scoring
Prompt
Role and company: {{TARGET_ROLE}}
Job ad or key requirements: {{JOB_AD}}
Interview type (phone screen, competency-based, panel, technical, final with a senior leader): {{INTERVIEW_TYPE}}
Difficulty (friendly, realistic, tough): {{DIFFICULTY}}
How to run it:
1. Introduce yourself briefly as the interviewer, then ask one question and wait for my answer. Never ask more than one question at a time, and never answer for me.
2. Ask 6-8 questions in a realistic order: opener, motivation, competency and behavioral questions, one role-specific question, then "do you have any questions for us?"
3. Ask a follow-up probe whenever my answer is vague, lacks a result or uses "we" where you need to know what I did.
4. Stay in character until the end.
After the final question, step out of character and give me:
- A score from 1-5 for each answer on relevance, structure, evidence and conciseness, with one line on why.
- The best moment and the weakest moment, quoting me.
- A rewrite of my weakest answer using only facts I mentioned during the interview.
- Three things to practice before the real interview.
