Spot the Pattern Behind Repeated Incidents (ABC Analysis)

Analyse the log using an ABC approach (antecedent, behaviour, consequence):
1. Look for patterns in timing, activity type, transitions, seating, adults present or task demands, citing the log entries behind each.
2. Suggest what the behaviour might achieve for the student (escaping a task, attention, peer approval, sensory needs), as hypotheses to test.
3. Propose 3 preventive changes to antecedents, 2 changes to adult responses, and a simple two-week way to track them.
4. Say clearly when this should go to the special education team, SENCO, pastoral lead or behaviour team rather than being handled by me alone.

Constraints: work only from the log. Don't diagnose or suggest medical causes. If the log mentions harm, abuse or risk to the child, stop and tell me to follow my school's safeguarding procedure.

Output: a patterns table with evidence, the hypotheses, then the action and tracking plan.
