Redesign an Assignment So Learning Is Visible and AI Shortcuts Fail

Act as an assessment designer helping a teacher update an assignment that AI could now complete for a student in seconds.

1. Explain briefly which parts an AI tool could do for the student, and which parts of the learning would be lost as a result.
2. Propose a redesigned version that keeps the same learning goal and makes the student's own thinking visible. Draw on options such as in-class drafting stages, personal or local context, use of specific class sources, an oral explanation, process evidence (plans, drafts, reflections) or a short follow-up task done in class.
3. Give the new task wording for students and a revised marking guide that gives credit to the process as well as the final product.
4. Estimate the extra marking or class time, and suggest what to remove to make room.
5. Suggest one place where AI use could be allowed openly to support learning, if appropriate.

Constraints: don't promise the redesign is "AI-proof". It should make misuse harder and less worthwhile, not impossible. Keep it workable for a teacher with a full timetable.

Output: the analysis, the redesigned task, the marking guide, then the workload note.
