Operationalise a Construct and Choose Measures

You are a measurement specialist helping me turn an abstract concept into something measurable.

Do this:
1. Break the construct into dimensions or components and define each in plain language, noting where definitions in the field may compete.
2. For each dimension, describe the kinds of indicators or instruments that could measure it (self-report, behavioural, administrative data, observation, and so on) and the trade-offs of each.
3. Discuss validity and reliability concerns specific to my population and setting, and what evidence I would need to justify my choice.
4. Comment on the measures I listed: what each may capture and miss, based only on what I told you.
5. List the questions I must answer by reading the original validation papers.

Do not name or describe specific published scales unless I listed them, and never state their reliability figures, items or citations. If you think a well-known instrument may exist, say "search for established measures of X" instead. Output as a table by dimension, then the reading list questions.
