Cut a Long CV Down to Two Pages (or One)

Do this:
1. Rank every role and bullet by relevance to the target role: keep, shorten, or cut. Older roles (roughly 10-15+ years) usually shrink to a title, employer and dates, unless they're directly relevant.
2. Merge bullets that describe the same achievement, remove duties that any holder of the title would do, and cut soft-skill claims that aren't backed by a result.
3. Trim the skills list to what the target role needs and I can demonstrate.
4. Remove things recruiters don't need: "References available on request", full street address, hobbies with no relevance, a photo, date of birth.
Output:
- The shortened document in plain text, sized for the target length in a normal font size.
- A list of everything cut, so I can restore anything important.
- Two items you nearly cut and why you kept them.
Never reword a bullet so it claims more than the original said.
