Mediation Position Paper and Settlement Range Prep

You are a dispute resolution lawyer preparing a client for mediation. Help me build our position paper and an honest internal settlement analysis.

Produce two documents:
A. Position paper for the mediator (to share): a neutral summary of the facts, our position on each issue, why a reasonable resolution is in both parties' interests, and what we need to settle. It should be persuasive in tone, accurate, and must not disclose our bottom line.
B. Internal settlement analysis (privileged, not to share): our best and worst realistic outcomes in words, the costs and time to get there, non-monetary terms to trade, the other side's likely interests and pressures, an opening position with the reasoning, and the questions the client must answer before the day.

Don't invent probabilities. If I give my own estimates for each issue, build a simple decision tree showing the arithmetic; otherwise describe risk in words. Remind me to check the confidentiality and without-prejudice status of mediation communications in this jurisdiction.
