Group Work Roles and Norms That Keep Everyone Working

Design:
1. Roles that suit this specific task, one per group member, with a role card for each listing 3 responsibilities and a sentence starter for that role.
2. Three group norms written in student language, and a quick way to teach them.
3. A task structure that makes individual accountability visible, such as each member producing one part, a random spokesperson or an individual check at the end.
4. Checkpoints with times, when groups show me progress before moving on.
5. What I do while groups work: which groups to visit first, and questions to ask that push thinking.
6. A 3-question self-review groups complete at the end.

Constraints: the task should genuinely need more than one person; if it doesn't, say so and suggest a better structure. Include a plan for a student who works better alone or finds groups anxious. Roles should rotate over time.

Output: role cards ready to print, the norms, then the teacher running plan with timings.
