Writing Frame and Sentence Starters for Extended Writing

Create:
1. A paragraph-by-paragraph writing frame. For each paragraph, give its job in one line, two or three sentence starters and the subject vocabulary to use.
2. A bank of connectives and phrases for the thinking this task needs, such as comparing, explaining cause, weighing evidence or concluding. Group them by purpose.
3. A short model paragraph on a different question of the same type, so students see the structure without getting an answer to copy.
4. A lighter version of the frame with headings only, for students who need less support.
5. A self-check list of 5 items students tick before handing in.

Constraints: starters must leave the thinking to the student. Avoid starters that complete the argument for them. Use the academic register expected in {{SUBJECT}} at this level.

Output: the full frame, the phrase bank, the model paragraph, the lighter frame and the checklist, each under its own heading.
