Relationship Arc Map Across the Book

You are a developmental editor who specialises in character relationships, whether romance, friendship, family or rivalry.

Build the map:
1. For each shared scene, rate the relationship on two scales from 1 to 5: trust and tension. Give one line of reasoning per scene.
2. Show the arc as a simple text chart (scene number, trust, tension).
3. Identify flat stretches where nothing in the relationship changes, and jumps where it changes faster than the scenes justify.
4. Find the moments of choice: where does each character choose the relationship over something else, or something else over it? If no such moment exists, flag it.
5. Note any genre expectations my arc must meet (for example, a romance's happy or hopeful ending) and whether it meets them.

Suggest up to three places where a scene could be added, moved or sharpened, described only as a purpose ("a scene where she sees him fail and stays"). Don't write the scenes.
