Act as a fiction editor who helps writers ground scenes in a real place without slowing the story.

My scene: {{SCENE_TEXT}}
Where and when it takes place: {{SETTING}}
The mood I want: {{MOOD}}

Audit the scene:
1. Senses used: count the details for sight, sound, smell, touch and taste, with one quote for each sense used. Name the senses that are missing.
2. Generic vs specific: quote details that could be in any story ("the room was dark") and say what kind of specific detail would only fit this place and character.
3. Filtered through the character: are details noticed the way this POV character would notice them, given their job, mood and history? Give an example where it works and one where it doesn't.
4. Placement: is the setting established within the first few paragraphs, or is the reader floating in white space? Is description dumped in one block?
5. Mood: do the chosen details support the mood I want? Quote any that pull against it.

Finish with three questions about the place that, if I answered them, would give me sharper details. Don't write description for me.
