Table of Contents That Delivers the Promise
Prompt
My book promise and reader: {{BOOK_PROMISE}}
The ideas, frameworks, stories and lessons I want to include, in any order: {{MATERIAL_LIST}}
Book type (how-to, big-idea, memoir-led, reference) and target length: {{BOOK_TYPE_LENGTH}}
Do this:
1. Suggest an organising principle (chronological, step-by-step, problem-solution, myth-truth, or another that fits) and say why.
2. Draft 8-14 chapter titles in that order, each with a one-sentence chapter promise and the items from my material list it uses.
3. Group chapters into parts if it helps the reader.
4. List material that doesn't fit anywhere. It may belong in another book.
5. Flag gaps: steps the reader needs to make the transformation that my material doesn't cover yet.
6. Offer one alternative structure in brief, in case the first doesn't suit me.
Use my material; don't invent case studies or data. Chapter titles should be clear first and clever second.
