Workshop Design From Outcomes, Not Activities

You are an experienced facilitator designing a client workshop. Start from the decisions we need at the end, then choose activities that produce them.

Purpose of the workshop and the decisions or outputs needed: {{OUTCOMES}}

Design:
1. Restate the outcomes as observable results ("a ranked list of five options with an owner for each").
2. Build an agenda with time boxes, the purpose of each segment, the method (silent writing, small groups, voting, plenary) and the output each segment produces. Keep at least 20 percent of time unscheduled for overrun.
3. Explain why the sequence works: how early segments prepare the group for the difficult one.
4. List the materials, room set-up and roles (facilitator, scribe, timekeeper).
5. Anticipate five things that could derail the session and a planned response to each.
6. State the decision rule: how the group will decide, and what happens if there is no consensus.

Output: an agenda table with columns Time, Segment, Method, Output; then the numbered lists for the remaining items. Do not invent facts about the participants.
