Questions to Ask a Client to Capture Results
Prompt
Project I delivered: {{PROJECT_DESCRIPTION}}
What the client originally wanted: {{ORIGINAL_GOAL}}
Metrics they probably track (guess if unsure, I will confirm): {{POSSIBLE_METRICS}}
Our relationship: {{RELATIONSHIP}}
Write:
1. A short, warm email asking for a 15-minute call or five written answers, saying what I want to use the answers for and offering them approval before anything is published.
2. Eight neutral questions covering before, after, what was hard, what surprised them, and what they would tell someone considering me. Questions must not suggest the answer.
3. Three questions specifically about measurable change, each with an easy way for them to say "I can't share that".
4. A short note for me on what to record (date, who said it, their permission) so every claim has a source.
Rules: do not draft the answers for them or assume any result happened. Do not pressure. Keep the email under 130 words.
Output: the email, the question list, then the record-keeping note.
