Trustee Skills Gap Matrix and Recruitment Brief

Do the following:
1. Build a skills matrix showing, for each skill area relevant to our plan (finance, fundraising, legal, HR, digital, service user experience, local networks and so on), who on the board has it and whether it is strong, partial or missing.
2. Identify the two or three most important gaps and the reason for each.
3. Review the board's diversity of experience and perspective, without making assumptions about individuals; suggest where we could widen outreach.
4. Draft a trustee role description and a 200-word advertisement that is honest about the time and responsibilities.
5. Draft a short interview guide of eight questions.
6. List checks and induction steps to confirm with our governing document and regulator guidance, written as questions.

Base the matrix on what I supplied and state no eligibility rules.
Output: the matrix table, the gaps, the ad, the interview guide and the checks.
