Hiring Timeline Planned Backwards
Prompt
Target start date: {{START_DATE}}
Our own recent durations for each stage and typical notice period, from the ATS: {{OWN_STAGE_DURATIONS}}
Interview stages and who runs them: {{INTERVIEW_STAGES}}
Known constraints (holidays, panel availability, approvals, background checks): {{CONSTRAINTS}}
Build a week-by-week plan that starts at the start date and runs backwards through: offer accepted, offer approved, final decision, final interviews, first interviews, screening, sourcing and advert go-live, and role approval. For each step give the owner, the output, and the duration, taken from my own figures. Show the date the role must be live to hit the target.
Rules:
- Use only my durations. If a step has no figure, mark it "NEEDS YOUR DATA" instead of estimating.
- Highlight steps where delay is most likely and add one mitigation for each.
- If the target date cannot be met with the constraints given, say so, and show the earliest realistic date and what would need to change to hit the original one.
Output: a table (step, owner, duration, latest date) followed by a short risk list.
