Why Customers Cancel: Analyse Exit Comments
Prompt
Cancellation comments, one per line, with plan or tenure if available (names and emails removed): {{EXIT_COMMENTS}}
Our product and pricing, briefly: {{PRODUCT_SUMMARY}}
The period covered: {{PERIOD}}
Do this:
1. Group the comments into churn reasons (for example: price, missing feature, switched to a competitor, didn't get value, need ended, support experience, billing problem). Count the comments per reason from the data, and show two exact quotes for each.
2. Separate avoidable churn (we could have changed the outcome) from unavoidable churn (business closed, project ended), with reasoning.
3. For the avoidable reasons, identify the earliest point support could have spotted the risk, and the signal to watch for in tickets.
4. Count the competitor names mentioned, without adding any I didn't give you.
5. Recommend three actions for support and three for product or pricing, ranked by how many comments each addresses.
Rules: count, don't estimate. Give no percentages unless you show the arithmetic from my counts. If a comment is too vague to classify ("just because"), put it under "unclear" rather than guessing. Don't paraphrase inside quotation marks.
