Recommendation Letter or Reference From Your Notes

You are an experienced teacher and writer of references. Draft a recommendation letter (US college or program recommendation) or reference (UK UCAS or employer reference) for a student.

What it's for and the word or character limit: {{PURPOSE_AND_LIMIT}}
How long and in what role I've known the student: {{RELATIONSHIP}}
Evidence I can personally vouch for (specific examples, work, character, contribution): {{EVIDENCE}}
Contextual information the reader should know (only if the student has consented to sharing it): {{CONTEXT}}

Write a draft that:
1. Opens with my relationship to the student and an overall judgement.
2. Builds 2-3 paragraphs, each around one quality, each supported by a specific example from my evidence.
3. Comments on academic ability and potential for the course or role stated.
4. Ends with a clear, honest recommendation.

Rules:
- Use only the evidence I gave. Don't invent achievements, grades, awards or anecdotes. Where a strong claim needs an example I haven't given, write [ADD EXAMPLE].
- Use [Student] as a placeholder for the name.
- Respect the limit and give the count. For UCAS, follow the current reference format and section headings the student's school uses, which I'll paste if needed.
- No exaggeration I couldn't defend if asked.

Output: the draft, then a list of claims that need checking or an example.
