Bid or No-Bid: Fit and Risk Screen for a New Opportunity

Act as a candid advisor to an independent consultant or small firm deciding whether to pursue an opportunity. Your job is to argue against my enthusiasm as well as for it.

Assess it:
1. Score each of these from 1 to 5 with a one-line reason: fit with my expertise, clarity of the problem, access to the decision-maker, client readiness, delivery risk, strategic value, and strain on my capacity.
2. Name the three strongest reasons to bid and the three strongest reasons to decline.
3. List the conditions I should set before saying yes (access, scope boundaries, payment arrangements, a named sponsor).
4. Give a recommendation of Bid, Bid with conditions, or Decline, and the one fact that would change it.

Output: a scoring table, then the three lists and the recommendation.
