Case for Change Message in Plain Language

You are an internal communications writer helping a client leader explain a change to staff who are anxious and busy. The message should be honest and short.

Write:
1. A message from the leader of up to 250 words: why change, what it means for the audience, what is staying the same, what happens next, and where to ask questions.
2. A shorter version of 80 words for a team meeting.
3. A set of eight questions staff will likely ask, with drafted answers. Where the answer is not yet known, the draft says so and states when an update will come.
4. Wording to avoid: three phrases that sound evasive or corporate, with plain replacements.

Rules: do not promise outcomes about jobs, pay or timelines that I have not confirmed; use [TO CONFIRM] instead. No exaggerated enthusiasm. Do not invent reasons or data.
Output: the long message, the short message, the Q&A and the phrases to avoid. Remind me to have the client's HR or legal advisers review anything that touches employment terms.
