Write a short message (under 120 words) and a shorter version for a text or chat platform. Open by acknowledging the previous process in a sentence, say specifically why I am getting back in touch, summarise the new role in two lines, and offer a low-effort next step such as a 15-minute call or simply a "not now".

- Do not suggest the earlier outcome was a mistake, and do not promise a different result.
